It has been created in 1991 for free technical education, support of children and youth in disadvantage and prevention of any risk to their dignity.

Father John Visser, SDB, on August 30, 2011, promoted to Official of the Order of Orange-Nassau by Queen Beatrix of the Netherlands.

In October, 20 at-risk youth will begin their professional education in internet technology and web design at hte new Don Bosco Technical School and Web House located in the National Park of Kep.
